Cartier x Thomas Roussel

DESCRIPTION

Luxury maison Cartier, in partnership with Diriyah Gate Development Authority, presents the first-ever high jewellery exhibition. Titled Al Thara wa Althuraya, the stunning exhibition is located in the historic district of At-Turaif, an UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Thomas Roussel composed the music led by conductor, Benjamin Pope and The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of London.

The exhibition took place from March 17-26th, showcasing unique masterpieces that honor the longstanding history between Cartier and the region. The site, which holds important historical significance for the region, was chosen due to its cultural relevance, symbolizing the honoring of beauty and heritage that is a trademark for the Maison.

Cartier is the first brand to exhibit its artifacts at At-Turaif World Heritage Site. The exhibition is set to include 40 jewellery pieces from the Cartier Collection, many of which have never been presented before, as well as 200 of the Maison’s timeless, signature creations from their five markers of style: Fauna and Flora, Geometry and Contrast, Architecture and Epure, Cultural Explorations and Ludique.
